義大利橋梁崩塌35死 民怨政府維修不徹底
義大利熱內亞莫蘭迪大橋倒塌，至少造成30多人死亡，據了解，這座橋結構採斜張橋設計，已有50年歷史，但2年前就曾有專家警告不夠安全，更有不少居民抱怨，政府會定期維修但卻只做表面。
義大利熱內亞莫蘭迪大橋倒塌，中間一大段崩落，救難人員爬上爬下，跟時間賽跑，緊急救人。
受傷民眾：「我大概掉了10公尺吧，我撞到牆就這樣，我已經記不起來任何事了。」
居民抱怨，這座橋早就有問題了！
CNN記者：「他們說政府有不時在維修，但都是表面修修補補，不是結構上的大修繕。」
以建築師莫蘭迪命名，又稱作是波塞韋拉高架橋，全長1.1公里，1968年完工通行，是歐洲首座混凝土斜張橋，只是沒想到屹立50年，卻經不起強風暴雨，瞬間崩塌。
CNN氣象主播：「但我們要了解到的是，在1960年代中期建造的建築建材，可能比現在的第三世界好。」
據了解，這座橋的建築結構，2年前就曾有專家警告，是「工程學的失敗例子」，因為今年1月，哥倫比亞首都波哥大近郊，同樣也是斜張橋崩塌，至少造成40人死亡，而2007年美國明尼蘇達州，跨密西西比河的洲際公路大橋，也發生同樣意外。
義大利總理Giuseppe Conte：「這座橋需要維修，但我們將會進行所有必要調查，並和司法單位合作確定崩塌原因後，防止類似悲劇再次重演。」
其實，早在20年前，義大利就因安全問題，計畫將該路段整修拓寬，徵收房屋，去年10月更獲得歐盟補助款，但當局擔心執行進度，趕不上歐盟要求，補助款遭收回，現在發生斷橋意外，責任歸屬難釐清。
